Thank you to everyone who has posted about their love for and friendships with Sher.  As a friend of hers from California emailed me-- "I've washed my desk with tears I've cried while reading all the posts but it's been a beautiful cry."

Dear Glenna, thank you for making this list of people and cats who posted in memory of Sher. I will miss Sher's blog so much (and my cat Kitikta at Kitikata.blogspot.com) will miss her too. Her food and Weekend Cat Blog was one of the first blogs I have ever read, and I was hooked instantly. I loved her cheery writing, and her cat and other wildlife stories. I am really going to miss Sher.

Glenna, thank you for this tribute to Sher. I was not familiar with Sher's blog until I saw your wonderful, thoughtful tribute to your friend. Yet, after reading what you wrote and reading many of the links, I feel as if I, too, lost a potential friend I never had the good fortune to "meet" until she was gone. I also found wonderful recipes to try, recipes that will keep her in my memory as well.
