This is such a wonderful tribute! I am really sad that I didn't hear of her or her blog until after her death. She seems like such an wonderful person with an amazing spirit!

Gosh -- what an amazing round-up of so many wonderful tributes! It's really touching...

Thank you for collecting all the links Glenna!
I too was covered in tears when I read trough all the tributes... but I also had a smile on my face cause I know Sher would have fun to see her food splattered throughout the blogosphere...

thanks for blowing up Typepad to compile all the links in one place. The tributes are a beautiful testament to the power of bloggers and the ability of a person with as vibrant of a personality as wonderful as Sher's to touch so many.

Dear Glenna, thank you for making this list of people and cats who posted in memory of Sher. I will miss Sher's blog so much (and my cat Kitikta at Kitikata.blogspot.com) will miss her too. Her food and Weekend Cat Blog was one of the first blogs I have ever read, and I was hooked instantly. I loved her cheery writing, and her cat and other wildlife stories. I am really going to miss Sher.

Thanks for compiling this, what a wonderful selection. I'm a bit late, but I made some mushroom balls and I'm very glad I did, they were delicious!

Glenna, thank you for this tribute to Sher. I was not familiar with Sher's blog until I saw your wonderful, thoughtful tribute to your friend. Yet, after reading what you wrote and reading many of the links, I feel as if I, too, lost a potential friend I never had the good fortune to "meet" until she was gone. I also found wonderful recipes to try, recipes that will keep her in my memory as well.

Thank you so much for organizing it all...

A wonderful tribute!

More links, yay!:

Thank you all!

Very touching tribute and such a loss. Sher participated on Presto Pasta Nights from the very first roundup and although we were away on Sunday, I did a tribute on Presto Pasta Nights http://www.prestopastanights.com/2008/08/tribute-to-sher.html

Very big loss indeed.

Another memorial post--

Thanks, Julie.

Thank you for doing this, Glenna. I found a post that I had dedicated to Sher (because of her love of a certain pasta shape), and I wanted to put a link here: http://champaign-taste.blogspot.com/2007/07/pasta-with-tomato-butter-sauce.html

I'll post my link here too:

Our friend, Jasmine from Cardamom Addict posted this lovely tribute to Sher

Here's another wonderful memorial to Sher from Melody of Cooking Schmooking @ http://cookingschmooking.blogspot.com/2008/08/what-did-you-eat-rip-sher.html
