Meeta, at What's for Lunch, Honey? is hosting her second Blogger Postcards Around the World event, this time with the theme of Valentine's Day. Perfect! What other day symbolizes love and sharing in all forms better than Valentine's Day?
The postcard I chose appealed to me because of its whimsy. What better symbolizes the friendships between women than food, specifically junk food? Even if Homer Simpson now symbolizes donuts "aagggggg....donuts....", it's still a chick thing.
My valentine friend will be receiving this card. If I could have found a way to attach them, I would have sent a packet of powdered sugar donut gems along with it just for fun.
