Soft cuddly combination Koala bear and blanket, carry around or sleepy time toy knitted in undyed tweed DK/light worsted weight alpaca on size 5 double pointed needles. Knitted mostly in one piece from top of head to blanket edge: facial features and arms knitted separately.  Intermediate skills:  knit, purl, increase, decrease, knitting in the round, yarn over, embroidery, pom-poms, and blocking.  Perfect for baby showers, birthday, Christmas, or other gifts.  One size, approximately 10 inches from top of head to bottom of blanket.

Estera Butterfly Stitch Women's Head Kerchief Scarf

Summery head kerchief, inspired by my friend, Estera, whose hair always looks so pulled together in kerchiefs and scarves without the severity of a pony tail or bun. One size fits school-aged girls, teens, and adult women.

Knitted in butterfly stitch lace, using two colors of Be Sweet Bambino 70% cotton/30% bamboo, hand-dyed, hand-spun yarn. Requires 1 ball “dark peach” and less than half one ball of “lime” color. Techniques used are knit, purl, K2tog, YO, PSSO, slip stitch, K1P1 ribbing on band, and knitted on two straight needles.

Three piece pattern knitted in soft Berroco Comfort yarn, Pumpkin and White, consisting of fox hat, over-the-head bib in preemie and term sizes, and coordinating leg warmers for each of five sizes: Medium Preemie (3-5 lbs), Large Preemie/Newborn, 6 months, 1 year, and toddler (2-3 years).

Face is made using a chevron stitch to create a fox’s long snout, with googly eyes and a button nose. Face could also be easily painted on using 3D fabric paint.

Smallest size uses less than 1 skein of pumpkin color and less than a half skein of the white color. Largest size uses 2 skeins of pumpkin color and 1 skein of white color.
