Book Buying Spree
Can you tell I went on a little spending spree yesterday? Hmmm...funny...it was supposed to be Auntie Miranda's birthday day but I ended up "winning" by spending the most cash. We pretty much circled the Springfield/Branson map. More about the rest of our adventures (The Amish Country Store!) tomorrow but for today look at my treasures from Barnes & Noble: The Advanced Professional Pastry Chef, The Bread Baker's Apprentice, and The Bread Bible. I can't wait to dig in to these tomes. I feel like a wiser cook just by having them to reference.
Is it Christmas already? Cuz, it sure feels like it!

you are making me hungry...

And you will find all three great references but then you'll find them lovely to bake from!

I'm drooling over those bread books! I might have to add those to my Wish List.

I have seen the Advanced Pastry Chef book over here in the UK. We are talking serious pastry here! Good luck with the books.

Sara--Don't you lvoe the Wish List feature? It keeps me on track of the stuff that I'd otherwise forget and never get around to getting or appreciating as much as I do.
Margaret--Yeah! I'm slapping my hands together in anticipation!
