I Like Cheeeeese
Why use boring old Kraft singles when there's lovely slices of Harvarti? Dilled Havarti? Pepper Jack?
This is regular havarti on regular white bread but it tastes so much more....more.
It reminds me of the commercial with the little girl who got great presents from Santa and says "I left him cheeeeeeeeese."
I like cheeeeeeese.

This is the second time in 2 weeks I've seen a post about Harvarti cheese. I'll look for it next time I go to the supermarket. I have to admit though that I am not a big cheese fan especially being lactose intolerant...

Cynthia-- I love havarti. To me it's a great rich melting cheese with a lot of flavor. Love the dilled. Great in scalloped potatoes or grated into that crepe torte I did a few weeks ago.
Sher--I'm so jealous! That Upsie's such a good girl, getting her mama cheese.
Sue--I probably SHOULD be eating FF Borden singles but let's just say it's not going to be happening and go on from there, okay? Good for you, though!

This reminds me of a Rachael Ray I caught yesterday - she made a Southwestern Monte Cristo using pepperjack, turkey, and ham, but the INTERESTING part was that she put pepper jelly on the inside of the sandwich. I thought, at the time, that would be good with just the CHEESE. Or even your Havarti. And there's a diner in Zumbrota, MN that makes KILLER grilled cheese with a slice of Cheddar (Not processed cheese) and a slice of Provolone. Still thinkin'.....ooh, and add the pepper jelly. I have some from David and Harry's that is chunky and to-die for.

Fabulous how the ordinary becomes extra with such a small change as the kind or flavor changes! Great photo. Who could not love cheeeeese? They're have to be something wrong with them.

I make a cheese sandwich with either some chili garlic sauce or hot lime relish, it's fantastic.

Wow, that looks delish!
I like a grilled cheese with a juicy ripe tomato in the middle. It is like tomato soup with grilled cheese...without the dirty pan.

Tanna--Exactly. Such a simple change. So easy and yet so good.
Carpaz--boht of those sound great too!
Sandi--Oh I love the tomato in the middle. I had that for the first time in Mississippi a few years ago and all I could think was "Why haven't i been doing this my whole life?" Very yummy!
Chris--Excellent that you have the havarti! Go for it!
