Fried Eggs: Tip of the Day
This was a fluke but I'm going to do it again. I was in a huge hurry yesterday before leaving for work and when I grabbed a skillet in the stack to fry my egg in it for a quick breakfast, I didn't realize I'd grabbed my wok skillet. But guess what? It makes a perfectly shaped fried egg. I was just a little impressed with myself. It was beautiful! Hmmm...love it when mistakes turn into tips to keep in mind for the future!

I love the fact that being in a "huge hurry" still leaves you time to fry an egg for breakfast. In my house, "huge hurry" means no shower, no makeup, no coffee, no breakfast, no lunch from home.
You wok. har har har.

So I am not the only one rushing around looking for a quick breakfast in the morning. Fun post!

Kyleen--boy, thatf shows perspective, doesn't it? If I'm not up at least 2 hours before I have to be somewhere in the morning I feel like I'm running late. I love my mornings but I love them unhurried so if I have to hit the shower the second I wake up, then I'm "late". Hee hee
Sher--Me too. I could eat eggs, toast, and hashbrowns every day of my life, I think, not that I do. But I love them.
Sandi--Yup. You're not alone. I love catching up email in the morning but I have to have breakfast or I'm cranky all day.

When I was a little munchkin Kristina my Grandma would make me bacon n eggs every single morning with a kiddie orange juice and toast with grape jelly. I still remember waking up every morning with the sound of hank williams on KTTS radio and the smell of bacon cooking and my grandma talking on the phone. Very safe feeling I have when I think of it.

Kristina--That's really sweet. I have lots of "safe" memories from my Grandma's house too. I think it really helps give your/our personality security to have those memories of someone where the love was completely unconditional and you could relax completely. You know?
