My continuing adventures in knitting for our local NICU, creating special holiday hats (and more!) for our little Littles in celebration of the major holidays and for their parents to take home as souvenirs.
Mini Knitting Party this Friday @ 2:30pm (11/11/11) at my house for anyone who can drop in and knit for a couple of hours. Nothing fancy, we're just going to knit and organized Thanksgiving hats for the little LIttles.
The results of the Knitting Party last night. We made all these hats in one evening. Okay, just kidding but these are the fruits of our labors from the last couple of months and some "test runs" looking at Halloween and fall. So many cute hats!!!!!! Once I get them washed we're going to make a "test run" into the NICU. I think I need a box that's marked "Give these away NOW!"
Personally, I'm also working on pumpkin booties to match the fall pumpkin hats we're working on.
Sigh. I love the fall holidays. They're my favorite in every way.
Gene aka The Hubby Who makes suggestions, appreciates my efforts, and who said when seeing the turkey butt hat for the first time "You are so perverse. Those poor babies don't know what they've gotten in to." But he laughed while he said it so I think it was a compliment.
